Shirley was a Hampshire sheep owned by a friend. She was a beautiful sheep with a very sweet personality.

Her wool is as soft as Merino wool with a bit of extra bounce to it. When Shari carded it, she added bamboo fiber dyed a gorgeous raspberry. It spins up into a stretchy yarn and I love to knit hats with it. Her fleece is so pretty! This 2-ply yarn will be perfect for most any project and soaks up dye like a sponge so you can overdye it easily if you want to!
