Ruby was our second Suffolk sheep. She arrived because she had never given her prior owners any lambs. That summer, she had twins- Pixie and Pixel. Surprise! On shearing day no less! Ruby passed away some years ago but the sheep decided I should spin up the last of her wool to share. (again, fussing about my shameful fiber stash.)

Ruby’s fleece is soft and bouncy. Shari carded in some gorgeous emerald green mohair curls and white Firestar (sparkle) fiber. It was so fun to spin and you could use the yarn for any project. Suffolk is a favorite of mine to use for hats and mittens.

Skein includes: 105 yards/2.5 ounces
