Lily is a bundle of fluff--reminds me of the old Thelwell cartoon animals--remember those??
Her Shetland cross fleece is white, locks of 3-4+ inches (single coat) with fun tailspinning, dyeing, blending possibilities and the fiber is next to the skin soft!
She likes to follow us on our fence check walks, fruit loops and romping around with her Shetland buddies! She is one cute girl! Her best friends are pretty much anyone but she spends the most time with our Tunis sheep Morgan. She's an older gal now but you wouldn't know it by how she skeedaddles around here every day!
2017 Update: Lily just turned 14 this year! Whoa! Where does the time go? She likes to hang around with Morgan now- who is a little more sedate than the younger sheep. She likes Morgan's pretty color. Lily has asked me a few times if I would dye HER that pretty red/fawn color? What??
Lily is starting to have some arthritis issues in her front legs now. She'll spend this summer out on the big pasture but in fall we'll move her in with the older/special needs sheep. She'll need a quieter group and extra food- she'll love that grain!
