Cosmo a pretty Lincoln cross who is a very happy boy. At times Cosmo's manners leave a little to be desired, even now that he is all grown up. He is such a card!
Peanut Cosmo had a little trouble with his right eye as a lamb but with two little staples in place, his eyelid healed so that his eyelashes no longer poked him in the eye!
His fleece is silky, has a little shine, locks of 4-6 inches and soft. His best friend is Wyatt- they are kind of an odd couple but are a hoot and a half to watch.
Cosmo was a twin who didn't get moving as fast as his sibling. He became a bottle baby tromping around the house for a few weeks. He still loves a hug- and fruit loops! I love his little tiny ears. Where did those come from? His mom Willow had them too.
2017 update: Hello from Cosmo! This Fall finds him moving into our special needs/retirement group of sheep. He's moving a little slower and needs extra grain to keep his proper weight through winter. The slower pace will be good for him, but don't tell him he's old enough to retire!
Cosmo is a peanut. I have always loved those tiny ears. Not sure what breed may have passed them down to him? He is a Lincoln cross sheep. Hmm. Always a mystery!
He's living with our special needs/retired sheep group now. He's 15 years old now. How does that happen? He needs a little grain to keep his weight up and his friend Frosty is living there too. Life is good! Read more about Frosty...
Here is Cosmo thinking he's sly. They are lawnmowers and take their job very seriously. This day I opened the gate and they were not ready to get up. Then when I went inside, they 'snuck' out. Teehee! If you look to the back of the photo- the little brown sheep? That is Becan. HE is the sneaky one. He's over in the wrong pasture with the llamas. Sigh.
